The TALLINN TRIATHLON takes place in one of the most picturesque and charming medieval cities in Northern Europe and whether it would be your first triathlon or you are an experienced triathlete, the Tallinn Triathlon welcomes all ages and abilities. Standard, sprint and super sprint distances for individuals will be available as well as having kids race, youth and junior categories and relays.
The start will be in the estuary of the Pirita river which has been a landing haven for boats and ships since medieval times. The swimming course is held in the Tallinn Bay leading towards the beautiful beach of Pirita. The bicycle course takes you along the sea front and offers great views to Tallinn’s Old Town which is listed in UNESCO’s heritage list. The concluding running course will first lead you past the mystic ruins of the Pirita Convent dating from 1436 and then on to the scenic landscape protection area of the Pirita River Valley.
The beauty of the historical city of Tallinn, the dunes and terraces of the Pirita River Valley and the 200-year old pine and hardwood forests will surely offer much needed emotional support while completing the challenging course.The TALLINN TRIATHLON’s organizing committee has five years of experience in organizing different triathlon events and competitions, including the Estonian Triathlon and Duatlon Championships.
